April 2007 - Alaika:
First day of my period and I'm sitting here in front of my computer with a big cup of vanilla tea and an oatmeal cookie. It's cold outside and I can smell the rain in the air, it's perfect for staying inside, with my cats and my books.
I've been traveling a lot for the last months. When I wasn't on the pill, I used to bleed every time I had to travel, even when I had everything completely under control with the dates, I got stressed out and started bleeding as soon as I got on the bus or plane or as soon as I arrived to my destination.

Menstruation blog April 22
Bad skin, bad hair, bad mood. I want my period to start!
By my calendar only 3 days away. I don't get PMS as bad as some but right around now I look forward to the flow so much. I feel as though when the blood comes out, it takes all the junk of the previous month with it. All my stress and anger, and all the accumulated crap, both physical and mental, that I carry around. It's been a drama filled couple of weeks and now I am ready to just lay down for a day, eat chocolate, read a good book, and bleed.
